Window Treatments Used as Dividers in Restaurants & Other Boutique Commercial Spaces

Window treatments are not only for windows!

Often, they are used to divide a large commercial space (restaurant, reception hall, etc) into smaller sections. Seemingly simple projects, they actually are all but...

Here's one example from our recent work.

Our task:  to create a divider drapery panel, which this restaurant can use to section off a portion of their dining room floor.

Execution:  double sided, self-lined drapery panel; ripplefold construction; heavy-duty architrac track;

What can go wrong:
-60lbs!!!! of fabric is very difficult to handle, sew, and install
-this fabric was growing, stretching, expanding, and generally not laying easily
-ripplefold tape and snaps mean that there is absolutely no room for adjustment

Result:  beautiful divider drapery panel and a happy client.

BTW, the restaurant was designed by the brilliant team at Gacek Design Group - www.gacekdesigngroup.com

The Rare Traditional-Style Window Treatments

In these times of simple window treatments, it's not often that we get to do the fancy, over the top, palacial swags and puddling curtains.  So when this customer wanted just that, we were happy to oblige :-).

Enjoy the 'before', 'during', and 'after' pictures!

Controlling Window Treatments with your Phone

Whaaaaaaaat????
I know, I feel the same way!
It's crazy - but it's true.
We truly live in the new world, where almost everything can be controlled with your phone, including your window treatments.

Watch this video, where moving the image on the screen actually moves the shade on the window (I know it's crazy, but it's true).

We here, at Vitalia, Inc, have done more motorization jobs in 2017, than we have in the last 12 years combined!.  It's what customers want.  It's were the future is.  Or should I say the present.
